Encircle is seeking an experienced and passionate Community Development and Neighbourhood Centres Coordinator to provide leadership across our Community Development portfolio and Neighbourhood Centres.
Reporting to the Housing and Neighbourhoods Manager, this operational leadership role is responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of our Neighbourhood Centres located in Kallangur, Lawnton and Redcliffe, ensuring they remain welcoming, inclusive and vibrant community hubs that strengthen participation, belonging and community connection.

About the role
As the Community Development and Neighbourhood Centres Coordinator, you will:
- Lead Encircle’s Community Development and Neighbourhood Centre functions.
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to Community Development Officers and Neighbourhood Centre staff.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with community groups, stakeholders and government agencies.
- Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of community programs, projects and events.
- Drive consistency and quality service delivery across multiple locations.
- Manage budgets, performance outcomes, compliance requirements and continuous improvement activities.
- Contribute as a key member of the Housing & Neighbourhoods Leadership Team.

About you
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience leading community development programs or initiatives.
- Strong people leadership and workforce development experience.
- Advanced community engagement and partnership-building skills.
- Experience managing projects, budgets and service performance.
- A commitment to social justice, inclusion, community-led practice and cultural safety.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Community Development, Social Work, Human Services, Social Sciences or a related discipline.
