The Pine Rivers Family Support Program is a free service for families with children under 18 years residing in the family home.
The aim of the Family Support Program is to assist and strengthen families to improve family wellbeing.
The Pine Rivers Family Support Program provides early intervention support to families to explore and implement changes in the areas of parenting, family relationships, and children’s needs and development.
Pine Rivers Family Support assists families who may have been impacted by family relationship issues or relationship breakdown, mental health issues, social isolation, or experiences of emotional or physical trauma to improve child and family wellbeing.
The Family Support team provide case management support to assist families to reach collaborative goals. This involves regular outreach visits and phone contact, and may also involve advocacy and support with other agencies and referral to other relevant services.
Group work may also be offered to provide additional relevant supports to families and the broader community. The Family Support Program can provide support to families for approximately 6-9 months.
