We are seeking an experienced and passionate Homestay Team Lead to join our Housing and Neighbourhoods team.

About the Role
The Homestay Team Lead provides leadership to a team delivering tenancy sustainment, brief intervention and case management services to individuals and families at risk of homelessness. The role focuses on service quality, staff development, stakeholder engagement and achieving positive housing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision and coaching to frontline staff.
  • Support quality practice through strengths-based, trauma-informed and culturally safe approaches.
  • Monitor service delivery, reporting requirements and contractual outcomes.
  • Support staff capability development, reflective practice and professional growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with community, government and sector stakeholders.
  • Contribute to service planning, innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational, legislative and funding requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • Degree qualifications in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within community services, housing, homelessness or related sectors.
  • Experience supporting staff, managing service delivery and achieving program outcomes.
  • Strong assessment, risk management and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building abilities.
  • Commitment to person-centred, strengths-based, trauma-informed and culturally safe practice.
  • Strong organisational, reporting and communication skills.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:.06pm. Rotational work across Encircle’s Lawnton, Kallangur and Redcliffe sites
