We are seeking an experienced and motivated Intake and Triage Team Lead to lead our Intake and Triage function within Housing and Neighbourhoods.
About the Role
This position is responsible for ensuring high-quality intake, assessment, risk screening and referral pathways for community members accessing Housing and Neighbourhoods services. The role combines team leadership, practice oversight and ongoing service improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Intake and Triage team.
- Ensure high-quality intake, assessment and referral processes.
- Support staff through coaching, mentoring and practice leadership.
- Monitor service performance, reporting and contractual deliverables.
- Foster reflective practice and continuous learning.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Drive service improvements and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with organisational and funding requirements.

What We’re Looking For
- Degree qualifications in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in community services or related sectors.
- Experience in intake, assessment, risk management and service coordination.
- Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Commitment to strengths-based, trauma-informed and culturally safe practice.
- Strong organisational, reporting and communication skills.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:06pm. Rotational work across Encircle’s Lawnton, Kallangur and Redcliffe sites.
