Moreton Bay community members, businesses and organisations are invited to come together and march to ‘Raise Your Voice Against Violence’ on Friday 31 May.

Now in its 16th year, the Moreton Bay Says NO 2 Violence (MBSN2V) Campaign is an initiative of Encircle Community Services.

A Steering Committee, made up of members of the local community, come together annually to lead this community event to raise awareness of Domestic and Family Violence (DFV), and all forms of violence, in our region by hosting a ‘Peaceful March’ in Redcliffe.

The annual event continues to gain increased interest, support and attendance from state and national politicians, community groups, the regions schools, local media outlets, community organisations, residents, as well as local businesses and enterprises.

About the march

Individuals are requested to gather at 8:30am at Rotary Park (opposite RSL), Redcliffe (186 Redcliffe Parade, Redcliffe QLD 4020).

The Moreton Bay Says No To Violence march will commence at 9:00am. We will march along Redcliffe Parade, the main street of the Redcliffe CBD, continuing along the waterfront and down the ANZAC Avenue access road to the Redcliffe Settlement Cove Amphitheatre/Basketball Court.

A formal ceremony will be held at the amphitheatre, commencing at approximately 10:00am.

Attendees are asked to register their participation in this year’s march. By registering your attendance, you will assist our volunteer event coordinators to communicate with you about unexpected weather announcements and other important information about the day.
