About the Program
Encourage, empower and facilitate connection on the journey of motherhood. A holistic six-week course that uses reflective journalling, visual art, discussion, awareness of health, and well-being strategies.
- Self-awareness of a mother’s role as a nurturer balanced with the need to also be nurtured.
- Identifying strengths and challenges and recognising the value of a healthy support system.
- Reflection on your own experiences of nurture and clarifying the key areas of caring and raising a family that you want to strengthen as a mother.
- Build knowledge of self-care strategies and scientifically proven methods to improve health and well-being for the long journey of being a mum.
- Build confidence and meet new people.
When: Starts Thursday 17 October 2024 for six weeks, ending Thursday 21 November
Time: 10:00am – 12:00pm
Where: Encircle Redcliffe Neighbourhood Centre (1 Lamington Drive, Redcliffe).
Cost: Free!
