During our School Refusal Workshop, we’ll explore practical strategies, gain insights into the underlying causes of school refusal, and learn ways to build confidence and resilience in your children.

About the Presenter – Alison Dougan

Alison is a Registered Counsellor, a Certified Havening Techniques Practitioner, and a Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics Practitioner. She provides counselling services specifically for the parents of children who have experienced Developmental Trauma such as maternal stress, Domestic and Family Violence, maltreatment, and/or parental substance use.

Alison uses talk therapy as well as psycho-sensory modalities. She encourages parents (biological, foster, step-parents, kinship carers, guardians, etc.) to develop their understanding of, and skill in, therapeutically parenting their children.
